Transfers!!💙 11/2/20

Hello everyone!

Well transfer news first, I am going back to Tempe!! Crazy I am going in a full circle. I started in Tempe, went to Phoenix, then to Yuma and now I'm going back to Tempe! This time I'll be in the single adult ward (ages 31-45) and the area is POPPING with work. There is so much potential I am so excited! 
I have loved every minute of Yuma. This place seriously is a place of healing. Honestly I didn't fully understand how it would be healing, but looking back it is honestly starting to make sense. Even though I feel like I've been through the Refiners fire in some ways it has been the absolute best thing for me. Sometimes, in a literal sense, it's better to open wounds and dig through them before they start to heal. Figuratively I feel like my wounds were opened but I've started healing, and I am so excited to take what I've learned to my next area. 
I know that sometimes we don't understand why we go through what we do. Sometimes we go through our own refiners fire not knowing why or unable to see the other side. But it'll come. I love y'all! Keep pressing forward! Have the best week!

"Testify Before Turned Down" 9/30/19

Hello friends and family! It has been such an amazing week full of crazy stories and cool experiences. I definitely can't share them all because this email would be WAY too long but here are a few! We had zone conference this week and they talked all about how important it is to remember your purpose. Teach off your purpose. Don't become stagnant. And to learn how to stand independent. It was such a good refresher and boost for the start of the week. Wednesday we had exchanges so I was out with the Hermanas in Guadalupe all day! I realized very quickly my 5 years of Spanish I understood 60-70% of everything that was said that day but could do little communicating back. So I learned how to pray in Spanish and have started to read the Book of Mormon in Spanish! I've also already memorized the missionary purpose and first vision. Also may have emailed President how much I loved learning and teaching in Spanish... so we will see where that goes!  Si...

1st Email from the MTC - 8/27/19

Hello Friends and Family! What a crazy ride it has already been! The MTC is honestly heaven. It is crazy, busy, exciting, and unpredictable. The days are so long but are filled with learning so much about teaching and building our testimonies of Jesus Christ. I can't even express how much my testimony has already grown. The spirit here is indescribable. You really can't help but feel it in every lesson, workshop, and just walking the grounds.  My companion is Sister Wright and she is just AMAZING. We get along so well. She is from Pocatello, Idaho and is going to be serving in Edmonton, Canada! It's crazy how our district is set up. All six Elders are serving in Seattle, 4 sisters are in Detroit, 3 of us are heading to Tempe, and Sister Wright to Canada. But today after our temple visit we found 6 more sisters serving with her so she knows who she'll be heading into the mission field with.
