SNAKE - 1/4/21

Hello everyone! 

Welp... here we go 2021! What a week already. This area is just amazing and I love my companions so much! We have had an absolute blast with the work. Julie is getting baptized in two weeks so we have been working to finalize all the details with that. She is so awesome! Please keep her in your prayers as her baptismal date gets closer! 
Other than that the highlights for the week definitely consist of finding a new person to teach, getting in contact with a few of our people that we haven't gotten in touch with for a little bit, having some really good food, and conquering my fear... y'all I held a SNAKE this week! Literally the worst experience ever but hey I got a sweet picture out of it! (I'll attach it to the email). 




This week we have been sharing Matthew 2:10-11 with a lot of our members. These verses talk about the Wisemen. We have been reflecting the nature of the Wisemen this week and how in reality it took years for them to finally reach Christ. So, how can we be like them? What can we do to continue to seek Christ, even after the celebration of His birth a few weeks ago? What are we willing to give Him, or in other words, what are we willing to sacrifice to come to Him, to come to know Him? I have pondered on these and have set my goals in response to these questions. I would invite y'all to do that as well. How are you going to seek Him and what are you willing to give to Him?

The Touch of the Masters Hand🎶 4/20/20

  Hi friends and family!  I hope you're all doing well. It has been a crazy week with getting Sister Dorsey sent off and readjusting back to just Sister Miner and I. We have also had some great success and awesome lessons. Outside of that we have started making more ukulele videos and got into coloring in our backyard for outside time. New activities have helped me really stay sane. :)  It is crazy to think that I will be in Phoenix for 4 1/2 months this transfer, and that I will hit halfway through my mission. Time is actually speeding up and it scares me to think how quickly the mission is flying! But during our Sunday sacrament service yesterday a member asked a question that I have really reflected on. "Do you think that you will be a different person after you get home from what you learned from the mission?" This question is asked a lot, but for whatever reason it hit me more this time. Week 2 in the MTC - 9/3/19

Hello friends and family!  First, thank you so much for all the emails it means so much to hear from you all! I am so sorry for not getting back to everyone time just flies on P days but please keep sending messages and I promise I'll get back to them as soon as I can! Well, officially one week from right now I'll be in Arizona, crazy! But I can't wait. Even in these short weeks, I have had such an increase in the desire to go and share the message of the restored gospel. I just want everyone to hear it and know how much it can bless their lives! Sister Wright and I have had so much fun teaching our assigned people here and have learned vital principles in how to teach.
