New Transfer🌲 5/18/20

 Hi friends and family!!

Transfer news came in and Sister Miner is being transferred! ): we are SO sad to be split but had the best 4 1/2 months together. My new companion is Sister Lunt. I have never served around her but from the few  interactions she is SO nice!(: It will be such a great transfer, I am so excited!
We have had a really great week. There are a few people that we're teaching that have made some incredible strides. My spiritual thought for the email will be with one of the awesome lessons from the week!
We are teaching a guy named Charles. He lives with his sister and her family and has been confined to a wheelchair for the last few years. He is legally blind and very quiet. We started teaching him a few months ago but was always very insistent that he was 'not a Mormon' but still wanted us to call and share a message with him. He isn't able to read the scriptures because he can't see, but knows them pretty well. This last week we talked about the Restoration again. We've talked about it before but wanted to review it. He asked us to explain who Joseph Smith was again and after we shared the first vision he asked if he could share a story with us. Honestly was kind of worried but he started to share a story about when he was sitting in a prison chapel and had a vision of a bright light and God telling him that he needed to turn his life around. We then testified of revelation and how we both received revelation on how/why we needed to come on missions. We both knew that there were people that needed us. Without even hesitating he said "yes I know that because I'm one of the people that need you guys".
Honestly, if nothing else happens on my mission I will still feel successful because that moment was just incredible. God is in EVERY detail! If you don't know that, please pray to find it. He is aware of every aspect of our life and knows exactly where we need to be. I am so thankful for my mission. I am so grateful for my area and for the people here. The mission is actually the most amazing place to be. It is crazy that I hit halfway this week! I am just so grateful for every moment.
Love you guys so much!!
