Mighty change of ❤ 7/20/20

 Hey everyone!

Another P-day here we go(: I hit my 11 month mark tomorrow which continues to blow my mind. The beginning of quarantine really slowed things down which was nice but it seems to have sped right back up! 
This week was SO busy. We had zone council on Tuesday, a mission conference on Wednesday, a day trip up to the valley Thursday, weekly planning Friday, and a few random excursions on Saturday. We also managed to teach a few awesome lessons and make some great headway with Facebook finding this week. 
We got to go to the sand dunes that are actually in California (but still in our mission, don't worry) this morning and it was SO fun! For all you star wars fans it was filmed in those dunes so there ya go! We did show up to find the Elders had gotten their truck stuck and had to go help them push it out. #districtunity 






I was reading in Jesus the Christ this week and found a cool part that I wanted to share. Jesus and His disciples land in a country called Gadarenes and are met by a man possessed by demons. A lot goes into it but Christ casts the devils out and the man begins to listen to Jesus teach. He asks to join Jesus but He tells him to go home and tell his friends what the Lord had done for him. James E. Talmage says, "The man became a missionary, not alone in his home town but throughout Decapolis, the region if the ten cities; wherever he went he told of the marvelous change Jesus had wrought on him." What was so cool is I read Alma 5 directly before reading this chapter. As noted in Alma 5, have we received a mighty change of heart and if we have can we still feel so now? If we have experienced a mighty change of heart what is stopping us from, as this man, becoming a missionary telling of the marvelous change Jesus has wrought in our lives? Look for the change, if you cant see it or maybe cant feel it, seek it out. Allow Christ to change you and help you!

The Touch of the Masters Hand🎶 4/20/20

  Hi friends and family!  I hope you're all doing well. It has been a crazy week with getting Sister Dorsey sent off and readjusting back to just Sister Miner and I. We have also had some great success and awesome lessons. Outside of that we have started making more ukulele videos and got into coloring in our backyard for outside time. New activities have helped me really stay sane. :)  It is crazy to think that I will be in Phoenix for 4 1/2 months this transfer, and that I will hit halfway through my mission. Time is actually speeding up and it scares me to think how quickly the mission is flying! But during our Sunday sacrament service yesterday a member asked a question that I have really reflected on. "Do you think that you will be a different person after you get home from what you learned from the mission?" This question is asked a lot, but for whatever reason it hit me more this time. Week 2 in the MTC - 9/3/19

Hello friends and family!  First, thank you so much for all the emails it means so much to hear from you all! I am so sorry for not getting back to everyone time just flies on P days but please keep sending messages and I promise I'll get back to them as soon as I can! Well, officially one week from right now I'll be in Arizona, crazy! But I can't wait. Even in these short weeks, I have had such an increase in the desire to go and share the message of the restored gospel. I just want everyone to hear it and know how much it can bless their lives! Sister Wright and I have had so much fun teaching our assigned people here and have learned vital principles in how to teach.
