Love mercy💙 10/12/20
Hi everyone!
It has been a week full of lessons, service, and 91 DEGREE WEATHER. Such a blessing! It'll heat back up but I think I can say I officially made it through the summer(:
We were packed full with service this week. We were doing things from weeding to walking horses to taking cookies to people in the ward. Service has been so good especially as the work is still picking up. We have connected so well with the ward the last few months and have created some amazing relationships.
The thought for this week comes from one of my favorites from the full list of amazing talks from conference. Elder Renlund talked about walking humbly, doing justly, and loving mercy. This talk is AMAZING. I have been studying humility and mercy so this talk stood out to me. Essentially he explains that we cannot be sufficiently humble and do justly to others (or fulfill the two great commandments) without loving mercy. Loving mercy though entails that we not only love the mercy God extends to us, but we love the mercy He extends to others. That shift in perspective helped me so much this week and I know will continue throughout my life.
I love y'all!
