God's Great Plan - 12/9/19

 Dear friends and family,

As many of you know, my Aunt Carin finished her 4 year battle with cancer this past week. My heart aches with her passing, but I am also so overcome with peace and happiness knowing where she is. I could not be on my mission if I didn't know with a surety that God has a plan for us. He has a plan! It is the plan of happiness! M. Russell Ballard gave a talk last conference that has brought me comfort this last week. Here are a few quotes from it. 
"The word that keeps coming to my mind now when I consider the plan is “reunion.” It is a plan, designed by our loving Father in Heaven, that has at its center the grand and glorious possibilities of family reunion—of eternally reuniting husbands and wives, parents and children, generation upon generation in the household of God."
"Brothers and sisters, please do not miss an opportunity to look into the eyes of your family members with love. Children and parents, reach out to each other and express your love and appreciation... Live each day together with hearts filled with gratitude, good memories, service, and much love."
Please do not ever miss an opportunity to tell your family you love them. Time is a precious gift from God, use it to its fullest! I love each of you so much, thank you for all your love and support. It strengthens me every single day. 
God is real. He loves us SO much. I know He does because I have felt a love for the people of Arizona that could only come from our Heavenly Father. Reach out to Him if you need help loving others. Reach out to Him to help you forgive others. Reach out to Him to feel of the love He has for YOU! No matter what you are going through, He is there. Jesus Christ is there. They understand you. They love you. They will lift you up and support you. I could not survive each day of my mission without their constant support and strength. Apply the Savior's mercy and Atonement in your life and I promise each one of you that you will be lifted up. You will feel peace.

The Touch of the Masters Hand🎶 4/20/20

  Hi friends and family!  I hope you're all doing well. It has been a crazy week with getting Sister Dorsey sent off and readjusting back to just Sister Miner and I. We have also had some great success and awesome lessons. Outside of that we have started making more ukulele videos and got into coloring in our backyard for outside time. New activities have helped me really stay sane. :)  It is crazy to think that I will be in Phoenix for 4 1/2 months this transfer, and that I will hit halfway through my mission. Time is actually speeding up and it scares me to think how quickly the mission is flying! But during our Sunday sacrament service yesterday a member asked a question that I have really reflected on. "Do you think that you will be a different person after you get home from what you learned from the mission?" This question is asked a lot, but for whatever reason it hit me more this time. Week 2 in the MTC - 9/3/19

Hello friends and family!  First, thank you so much for all the emails it means so much to hear from you all! I am so sorry for not getting back to everyone time just flies on P days but please keep sending messages and I promise I'll get back to them as soon as I can! Well, officially one week from right now I'll be in Arizona, crazy! But I can't wait. Even in these short weeks, I have had such an increase in the desire to go and share the message of the restored gospel. I just want everyone to hear it and know how much it can bless their lives! Sister Wright and I have had so much fun teaching our assigned people here and have learned vital principles in how to teach.
