CONFERENCE❤ 10/5/20

Hey everyone!

Its OCTOBER... what! Fall stuff is starting to come out in everyone's homes and its still 106 degrees outside. But hopefully within the next few weeks or so it'll break 100! This one is going to be pretty short since it's the end of the day but....
This week has been super full but also so good! We had trip to Tempe for another leadership conference so that took a few days but it was so good. We talked a lot about obedience and how obedience is linked so specifically to happiness. But the highlight 100% for the week had to be general conference. It was SO GOOD! 



I guess that would have to be my spiritual thought for the week is just how grateful I am for a living prophet and apostles. I went into conference with a few questions and seriously they were all answered within the first two talks, it was amazing! If you didn't have any questions going in, think of some and relisten to some of the talks and I promise you'll find answers.

"Testify Before Turned Down" 9/30/19

Hello friends and family! It has been such an amazing week full of crazy stories and cool experiences. I definitely can't share them all because this email would be WAY too long but here are a few! We had zone conference this week and they talked all about how important it is to remember your purpose. Teach off your purpose. Don't become stagnant. And to learn how to stand independent. It was such a good refresher and boost for the start of the week. Wednesday we had exchanges so I was out with the Hermanas in Guadalupe all day! I realized very quickly my 5 years of Spanish I understood 60-70% of everything that was said that day but could do little communicating back. So I learned how to pray in Spanish and have started to read the Book of Mormon in Spanish! I've also already memorized the missionary purpose and first vision. Also may have emailed President how much I loved learning and teaching in Spanish... so we will see where that goes!  Si...

1st Email from the MTC - 8/27/19

Hello Friends and Family! What a crazy ride it has already been! The MTC is honestly heaven. It is crazy, busy, exciting, and unpredictable. The days are so long but are filled with learning so much about teaching and building our testimonies of Jesus Christ. I can't even express how much my testimony has already grown. The spirit here is indescribable. You really can't help but feel it in every lesson, workshop, and just walking the grounds.  My companion is Sister Wright and she is just AMAZING. We get along so well. She is from Pocatello, Idaho and is going to be serving in Edmonton, Canada! It's crazy how our district is set up. All six Elders are serving in Seattle, 4 sisters are in Detroit, 3 of us are heading to Tempe, and Sister Wright to Canada. But today after our temple visit we found 6 more sisters serving with her so she knows who she'll be heading into the mission field with. So far I have met 6 other sisters serving in Tempe (four out of six ar...
