  Hi friends and family!  I hope you're all doing well. It has been a crazy week with getting Sister Dorsey sent off and readjusting back to just Sister Miner and I. We have also had some great success and awesome lessons. Outside of that we have started making more ukulele videos and got into coloring in our backyard for outside time. New activities have helped me really stay sane. :)  It is crazy to think that I will be in Phoenix for 4 1/2 months this transfer, and that I will hit halfway through my mission. Time is actually speeding up and it scares me to think how quickly the mission is flying! But during our Sunday sacrament service yesterday a member asked a question that I have really reflected on. "Do you think that you will be a different person after you get home from what you learned from the mission?" This question is asked a lot, but for whatever reason it hit me more this time. 1st Email from the MTC - 8/27/19

Hello Friends and Family! What a crazy ride it has already been! The MTC is honestly heaven. It is crazy, busy, exciting, and unpredictable. The days are so long but are filled with learning so much about teaching and building our testimonies of Jesus Christ. I can't even express how much my testimony has already grown. The spirit here is indescribable. You really can't help but feel it in every lesson, workshop, and just walking the grounds.  My companion is Sister Wright and she is just AMAZING. We get along so well. She is from Pocatello, Idaho and is going to be serving in Edmonton, Canada! It's crazy how our district is set up. All six Elders are serving in Seattle, 4 sisters are in Detroit, 3 of us are heading to Tempe, and Sister Wright to Canada. But today after our temple visit we found 6 more sisters serving with her so she knows who she'll be heading into the mission field with. Faith & Character - 11/4/19

  Hello friends and family! I hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween! And hope at least some of you enjoyed my Dads AMAZING set up! It looked so awesome! 😊 Halloween was an interesting day here. We had to be inside by 6 so we didn't have much time for proselyting. We decided to set up a table in front of the church with a map and as kids walked home from the high school have them mark where their ancestors are from and hand out candy for Halloween. We have done this activity before with questions to answer and popsicles but haven't seen many results. That day we had 11 people take our phone number because they got so excited about family history! It was so cool! We were so happy until we went to put our stuff away and grabbed what we could to take in and when we came back our table had gotten stolen.. it was crazy!  We also ran into a coyote this week which was super awesome.
