Here are some pictures of Sister Callister on her first day in the Arizona Tempe Mission! Hello Friends and Family! What a crazy first week! It has been an absolute adventure from the moment i arrived in Arizona. When we got picked up we headed to the Gilbert Temple to take some pictures, then President Goaslind decided it was time to rip the band aid off and we headed to ASU campus to hand out copies of the Book of Mormon. It was super nerve-wracking but such a blast! We handed out a few copies and even committed someone to coming to church. God really does have people ready to hear the message of the restored gospel.  My trainer/companion is Sister Snelgrove! She is from Rexburg, Idaho and has only been in the mission for 3 months but is AMAZING. We get along so well and are having a blast sharing the gospel. We are currently serving in Ahwatukee (a suburb of Phoenix). We have two wards we cover, the Ahwatukee and Mountain Park wards. We have already had the craziest experie...

Last day in the MTC - 9/9/19

Hello family and friends! Well, time flew by, I am heading to Arizona tomorrow morning! I am so excited to get there and to meet my Mission President, his wife, my trainer, really just everyone. I came down with a nasty cold though so any and all prayers would be so greatly appreciated!! These actions include praying, reading scriptures, going to church, attending the temple, etc. Faith is required in our own personal conversion. Without it, there would be no progress made in this life. I find that as I study about daily repentance (following after the example...

Week 2 in the MTC - 9/3/19

Hello friends and family!  First, thank you so much for all the emails it means so much to hear from you all! I am so sorry for not getting back to everyone time just flies on P days but please keep sending messages and I promise I'll get back to them as soon as I can! Well, officially one week from right now I'll be in Arizona, crazy! But I can't wait. Even in these short weeks, I have had such an increase in the desire to go and share the message of the restored gospel. I just want everyone to hear it and know how much it can bless their lives! Sister Wright and I have had so much fun teaching our assigned people here and have learned vital principles in how to teach. We work so well together I'm so sad we only have a few days left together!  This week in my personal study I was reading through a few general conference talks and after a few clicks found myself reading a message from the Ensign by Elder Ballard titled, "Now is the Time". I was so ...
